Amazing Transformation: From an old van base into a tiny off-grid home on wheels

wooden boho house 01

Elizabeth Pearson received an old van base from a stranger and brilliantly transformed it into the house of her dreams. Without any building experience and with a restricted budget, she managed to complete her mission by using recycled materials.

The van was finally transformed into a fully-equipped ready-to-use home on wheels. The unusual home covers a territory of 5 by 2.20 meters (about 16 by 7 feet) and is comprised of a rustic kitchen,  a double bedroom on a mezzanine level, full-sized shower, composting toilet, and a sofa with built-in storage which doubles as a day bed on the ground floor.

The exterior of the home features a yoga terrace overlooking the gorgeous Spanish countryside. Attached to the home on hinges, it can easily be folded up for transportation, or removed completely if needed.
